*Entry Fee $60 for classes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 $40 for classes 2, 7. All riders (or parent/guardian if rider under 18 years) must sign an entry form accepting and agreeing to conditions of entry. Unsigned entries will not be accepted.*
*All Competitors must provide a helper, if they can not an helper donation must be made with entry, helper list will be emailed out, no helpers or donation your entry will be removed.*
2. NZPCA approved safety helmets to be worn and must be red tagged.
3. Back numbers will NOT be provided.
4. Gear check to be completed before all phases.
5. Riders must wear correct attire for all phases. Pony club uniform acceptable. Long hair must be tied up, preferably in a hairnet.
6. ALL RIDERS RIDE AT THEIR OWN RISK. Belfast Pony Club Inc and landowners accept
no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to property, horse or pony, rider or spectator.
7. Entry fee must be fully paid to confirm entry.
8. Absolutely no dogs please. This will be strictly enforced.
9. Committee reserves the right to alter the schedule or combine classes.
10. Committee reserves the right to remove any horse/ pony it considers dangerous.
11. Protests must be submitted to event secretary within half an hour of the incident and be
accompanied by $30, which will be refunded if the protest is upheld.
12. Refunds: 75% of entry will be refunded when request is made in writing within seven days of the event and accompanied by either a vet or doctor's certificate. No refunds to be given on the day.
13. Committee has the right to alter classes or schedules at their discretion.
14. Riders eliminated on the course may not continue and must walk back. There is an open day on the 16th October 2022 if you would like to come back to school.
15. Please take any rubbish, including horse manure, with you when you leave the event.
16. Food and drink available on the day.
17. This event is run under NZPCA and the appropriate ESNZ rules.
18. Concussion: any rider who has suffered a concussion in the six weeks prior to this event may not compete.
20. Prize Giving will be held approximately 30 minutes after the final class is posted, providing there are no protests.
Elimination – a competitor may be eliminated at any stage of the competition by the ground jury for A: Dangerous Riding, B: in their opinion the horse is sick, lame or exhausted, C: for misuse of the whip or spurs or the ill treatment of the horse, D: for interfering with another competitor, E: for any other unseemly behaviour, F; doping.
IF YOU ARE NOT A FINANCIAL MEMBER OF A PONY CLUB BRANCH PLEASE FILL OUT AN ‘AGREEMENT FOR CASUAL MEMBER’S FORM AND INCLUDE WITH YOUR ENTRY. ENTRY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THIS FORM COMPLETED AND SIGNED
