3 PHASE/2 DAY Working Equitation Competition

Please take the time to read through the following information.
GENERAL: The event will be held in accordance with the current ANWEL Rule Book. Please familiarise yourself with all aspects and contact organisers prior to the event if you are unsure.

ANWE LEVY: In order to compete every rider MUST be a member of ANWE and an affiliated Club. ANWE membership is $25 annually and available via Nominate.
LEVELS: Competitors are encouraged to be familiar with the rule book which is available on the ANWE website www.anwe.org.au. The rule book details rules and performance guidelines to assist you in a competition environment and at your level of riding and in accordance with ANWE guidelines.
One rider per horse for the entire event.
You may enter more than one horse.
Child is under 12/Junior 12 and under 16/Youth 16 and under 21
DRAW: The Draw, Course Maps and Directives for each phase will be emailed to competitors in the week prior.
VOLUNTEERS: All competitors will be allocated a small ground job during the event. Please be able to help in some way so we can run a successful event .
ENTRY FEE & SCRATCHINGS: ENTRIES ARE NON REFUNDABLE after Closing Date unless a Vet or Doctor certificate is provided.
Closing Date is 26th April.
Basic stabling is available on site.
Powered and unpowered camping sites are available at a rate of $30 per night, payable to the Gloucester Showgrounds caretaker.
COMPETITION: Riding on course prior to the event will result in elimination.
EVENT CANCELLATION: In the event the competition is cancelled as determined by the Organising Committee at it’s discretion, entry fees will be refunded less a Nominate Processing Fee. You will be notified by Facebook and e-mail.
GEAR CHECK: Gear checks for riders and horses are compulsory prior to each phase by the Gear Steward. Elimination will occur if gear checks are not completed at the correct time.
*Please be aware of restrictions on gear changes between phases. Failure to do so may cause elimination.
COURSE WALK: The course MUST be walked in full competition attire.
COURSE CHECK: Be aware that it is the rider’s responsibility to make sure the course has been re-set before you start your ride. It is NOT the responsibility of the Judges or ground crew so check before you start.
DOGS: Dogs are permitted but MUST be on a leash . Please also consider the camping environment and ensure your dog is not disruptive .
Dogs, children, prams etc. are not allowed in the actual competition and warmup areas.
CATERING: A canteen will be available both days, cash only
SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER: We are pleased to offer a casual dinner with dessert on Saturday night for Competitors and Family and Friends at a fee of $25 pp. Please advise through Nominate entry.
CAMPING AND STABLING: Camping and Basic Stabling is available through Gloucester Showgrounds.
