Stabling & Cabin Booking

For 

Sugarloaf Cobbitty Equestrian Club Dressage Competition

16 October 2022

Please familiarise yourself with the following Stabling and Camping Conditions.  

Bookings Close Friday October 7th 6pm 

Late Booking Closes Sunday 9th October - late fee per horse applies

1. Shavings

  • Please order your shavings at the time of booking your stable.  (options tab)
  • Current shaving costs $14.50 per bale but subject to change 
  • SIEC requires 1 - 2 bales for a day stay and 4-8 bales for overnight. 

2. Stable Bond  (Failed Stables)

  • A Bond is required in addition to your stable costs. 
  • The Bond of $90 is refunded if the stables are left completely clean, and in the same state as you entered the stable. 
  • Stables are inspected by SIEC staff post competition day. If the stable requires to be swept out, or cleaned, it will be deamed as failed and the Bond retained.
  • Stable Bonds will be refunded after the event via the online Nominate System.  Funds will be transfered back into your account via the method you paid Nominate. 
  • SIEC will inspect the stables post vacating them, and make the decision on the condition of the stables vacated.  SCEC committee members are not responsible for inspecting stables and determing the conditions of the stables left. 

3.General Stabling

  • If you are stabling your horse overnight at SIEC, please book for 2 days of stabling. 
  • Stables need to be vacated by Sunday Evening. 
  • Horses are not allowed to be left unattended overnight at SIEC.  A reponsible person needs to remain on the SIEC premises at all times while your horse/s are on the premises.
  • Reminder to bring your own stable cleaning equipment
  • Stable aisles to be kept clear at all times. 
  • The Stable Complex is a no-glass area.
  • The Stable Complex is a no-smoking area. 

4. Stable Warden

  • A stable warden will be chosen that is on site to monitor and be the go-to person to assist with stabling and cabins for the weekend. Details will be provided to competitors that are camping and stabling. 
  • The Stable warden can be contacted if additional bales of shavings is required. 
  • The Contact details of the Stable Warden will be provided to SIEC as well as the competitors using the stabling and camping facilities.

5. Cabins and Camping

  • 8 cabins have been allocated to our SCEC event. 
  • Bedding, pillows and towels are not included in the cost.  Bring your own.
