WE have been lucky enough to engage Mary Seefried (FEI Judge) for our next Riding and Driving clinic and competition.
She is coming from lunchtime Monday 3rd August to lunchtime Wednesday 5th. The program will be very flexible, but we are proposing the following as a guide -
Monday afternoon, Driving Protocol test sessions at 12 Greenwood Creek Rd, Nanango. Protocol sessions are run to make you more confident befoe your next competition. You come in, present to judge as in a real competition, then ride or drive your test, as you would in a competition. At the end, you and the judge have a discussion about what worked, and where your skills an your horse's skills need more work. Then you practice some movements to put you on the right path. Each session is half an hour.
Tuesday morning, Driving competition at 12 Greenwood Creek Rd, Nanango.
Tuesday late afternoon and night, protocol test sessions at Sue Cox's beautiful undercover arena at the end of Hohnke's Rd, Nanango
Wednesday morning, Riding Competition at Sue's arena.
This is a no-plaits, no-formal-attire competition for both Driving and Riding. Attire must be safe, including sunsafe. No gloves are required.
