The main aim of this event is for riders to have fun. 

Rules/Conditions of Entry

• Competitors are to pick up ALL their own rubbish, hay, manure and anything else left in their area.

• Competitors must be pony club or EA members or pay $15.00 Pony Club day insurance.

• Competitors who are EA members are required to sign the required waiver form.

- Compulsory TEC ground levy of $15 per horse.

• Classes will not be held over for entrants in more than one ring.

• One group of led and ridden classes per horse/rider combination. e.g. horse can do two groups of ridden classes but must be with two different riders

• Cruelty will not be tolerated.

• Handlers must wear appropriate footwear, and riders must wear an approved Australian standard helmet.

• Judge’s decision is final.

• Horses not to be left unattended tied to floats. Colts and Stallions are NOT permitted.

• Intermediate* - horses and riders who have not both competed at an “open” EA or SHC event in the previous 12 months.

• First Independent/ Topsy Walk/ (Trot optional) * – Rider off Leading Rein with parent in attendance (Walking/running beside them).

• Novice – Horses and/or riders who have not won a “novice” class at any agricultural, breed or other horse show.

• Classes may be split/combined at discretion of the show committee.

• The committee reserves the right to demand that any unruly, diseased, or dangerous exhibit leave the ground.

• The committee reserves the right to alter or amend the program.

• Non-participation in an event will not warrant a refund of any monies. Entry monies may be refunded at the committee’s discretion if a Veterinary Certificate and/or Doctor’s Certificate accompany the request within 7 days from the shows date

• Ribbons will be awarded to 4th place.

• Pony Club Rider/Mount – Rider must be a financial member of Pony Club.

•Pony Club Riders May ride in their Pony Club Uniform for the Gymkhana

-Maxmimum ticket fee per horse is capped at $45 as a 'day pass'
