to be accepted athletes must be * current members of EA, * current members of Eventing NSW

may also be a National HP or Talent ID athlete

To be part of the Eventing NSW State Squad a registration fee of $55 per horse and rider combination.

Payable to Eventing NSW at time of registration.

STAR SQUAD INCLUSION

results criteria will include 1 or the following

1 X CCI4*L MER

2 X CCI/N 4*S MER

1 X CCI3*L MER

2 X CCI/N 3*S MER

STAR TALENT ID OR YOUTH SQUAD INCLUSION

results criteria will include 1 of the following

1 X CCI/N 4*S MER

2 X CCI/N 3* S MER

1 X CCI 2*L less than 36 penalties

2 X CCI/N 2*S less than 31 penalties

Youth 16 - 25yrs CCI 2*L MER

Any squad horse that is injured or not available when a squad clinic is being held may be substituted with another horse competing at a similar level. Riders on non-squad horses must pay full price for lessons.

Automatic Exclusion from the squad may occur due to the following:

It is the athletes’ responsibility to inform the squad co-ordinator in writing in a timely fashion when horses are either sold or no longer being ridden by that athlete.

Athlete selection and/or exclusion may be subject to any yellow card, strict liability offence and/or medication control violations.

Athletes must conform to the EA Code of Conduct, EA Social Media Policy and Welfare of the Horse or be subject to disciplinary procedures.
