You must be a member of Brookleigh Working Equition Club,

a current Member of an ANWE Affiliated Club to enter this event or enter as a Guest to try Working Equitation.

This year we continue to focus on the principles of training that enable the horse to work in correct self carriage, in all 4 phases. Developing a harmonious relationship between horse and rider whilst working towards advancing through the levels of Working Equitation.

This month, the focus is on NAVIGATION

Classes at this event includes:

OUTDOOR ARENA

Pole Dressage classes with Vanessa Hancox adding some challenge to dressage using poles for more precision.

INDOOR ARENA

Precision Riding with Maggie Cappon with an exercise to teach self carriage and anticipation.
Ease of Handling (Obstacles) with Louise Atkinson, utilising the Bridge and other obstacles to create a small course.

There is a maximum of 4 (in hand) or 5 (ridden) horses per class. If the class is full when you try to enter, please email Helen and we will add another class.

Member Fees:

$50 for the first class plus additional classes for $15 each, plus ground fee $10

Non-member Fees:

As for a Member plus a $20 surcharge if you are not a member of an ANWE affiliated WE club plus ground fee $15
As for a Member if you are a current member of an ANWE WA affiliated WE club plus ground fee $15

ADDITIONAL NOTES

If a class only has one or two at close of entries, we reserve the right to consolidate classes. If this occurs, you will be advised immediately after closing date for entries. Coaching is offered at the different levels within the classes adjusted to the experience of horse and rider. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in ensuring a great day for all.

Please bring your own sun screen and fly protection for yourselves and your horse. There will be water available at the yards and stables. There will be drinks available to the Members in an esky in the grandstand and our tea/coffee stand. Please clean up any excess hay and all manure before leaving the yard and around the float at the end of your stay.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds will be provided only where a medical or vet certificate is provided or the event is cancelled by us. As we use Nominate for our entries, their $1.00 refund fee cannot be refunded. Refunds will be returned to the bank account used to enter.
