OBSTACLES WITH LISA CAMP
About Lisa –
Lisa is no stranger to BRC members who enjoy games, obstacles and trail riding - these are a few of Lisa's favourite things. She is also famous for the phrase, "Have a crack!" which she definitely embodies, being keen to try new things and get other riders to also "have a crack"!
Obstacles will be set up in the undercover arena from 9am for riders to self guide, play with or introduce their horses to. We will be revisiting some obstacles that were challenging in the ranch trail, and there will be some new ones to try. Depending on your level these obstacles can be done in hand or mounted. From approximately 10.30am Lisa is happy to guide and assist riders with any obstacles and if riders wish she will give you a course to complete in a set time to add an extra level of challenge. Note: arena will be cleared of riders whilst someone is doing a course, and whilst everyone is waiting for their opportunity, lots of encouragement is required from the sideline.
Groups will be formed depending on number of entries and group details will be sent out with the XC draw, if required.
Lunch will be provided and is included in the cost of entry for ALL options.
There will be a vegetarian option. Please advise of any other dietary requirements.
NO LUNGEING ON THE OUTDOOR SAND ARENAS, please.
Entrance for all vehicles is via the second gate on Matthews Lane.
Please park responsibly and leave enough room between floats/yards/containers.
If you would like to bring a horse down for exposure, floating practice or to watch some lessons, please choose that option when entering.
BRC will be utilising the covered arena, the SJ paddock and part of the XC course.
The outdoor sand arenas will be availabe for those who wish to utililise the ground use and lunch option, and there will be some pole exercises set up for you on one of them.
If you cannot make it for any reason, please let us know - prior to the day use the club email address - [email protected] - ON the day via TEXT message to 0437 527 376.
