Deon Locke started his training career in America with the very famous Al Dunning, famous for his success with training Reiners, cutters & Reined Cow Horses.

Deon then went to work with Pete Kyle to specialise in training Reiners.

Deon was in America training Reiners and running his own training stables, Locke Performance Horses, for almost 20 years with multiple NRHA futurity and derby finalists under his belt as well as has trained quite a few 2 year olds that went on to be futurity finalists over there.

Luckily for us, Deon moved back to Australia a few years ago and kept a low profile in Innisfail where he has continued to train clients reining and challenge horses.

Deon has agreed to share with us his valuable time and knowledge to teach his program to help get our horses ready for the show pen.

• A Biosecurity Health Declaration must be completed via nominate at the time of submitting your nominations, if this is not completed a Biosecurity form must be handed in to the Show Secretary before riding at this event.

• All riders are required to be members of ARCHA or obtain a day membership to compete in this show. Temporary Day Membership is $25 per rider for the weekend.
