Members Indoor Arena Familiarisation

Get your horse/pony more comfortable with the indoor arena experience, and school them without the pressures of a competition environment. Perfect for young or new horses too! 

Practise your dressage test in a designated 20x60m dressage arena with markers, or ride around both sides of our large indoor arena approx. 50mx80m.

Event Details:

• Current CWDG Members Only
• Registraton: Entries must be submitted by midnight, Wednesday 15^th October.  No late entries will be accepted.
• Indoor Arena (50m x 80m)
  • Designed to accommodate two full size dressage arenas measuring just over 50m x 80m
  • You may wish to ride with a friend or two so, book you times together.
  • Horses must be entered to attend.
  • You must be a current financial CWDG member to enter.
  • Maximum of 4 horses per timeslot (1 hour).
  • Horse welfare is paramount.  You must abide by any direction given to you by the Committee.
• You may enter a maximum of 2 timeslots per horse.
• Only Indoor Arena in use, Outdoor arena’s booked for separate clinic.
• Feel free to stay for a communal lunch and bring a packed lunch with you
• Lunging only in the lunging yards provided, not in any arena.
• Yards will be free of charge on a first come first served basis, please leave them clean and tidy.

Conditions:

• Refer to CWDG conditions of entry, entry form 2025
• In the event of severe weather causing cancelation refunds will be given.

Facilities:

• Arena: Indoor arena (approx. 50m x 80m) with markers available for this event.
• Wash bay: Four wash bays available for use.
• Yards: Cattle Yards (highly secure) and smaller Pony Club Yards on a first come first served basis. 
• Manure Disposal: Please deposit all manure from yards and next to floats into the concrete bunker on the eastern side near the cattle yards. Wheelbarrows and tools are provided. Please clean up in your arena too should your horse lighten his/her load whilst you are there!
