Ivanka Menken is an EA accredited C-Level Dressage Judge (up to and including Advanced) and has been judging since 2021 across member days, official competitions, InterSchool events, eventing dressage and Working Equitation. She has also judged club competitions in the Netherlands.

Originally from the Netherlands, Ivanka rode and trained at Advanced/PSG level before moving to Australia, where she competed to Elementary level. She has produced all her own horses from green broken through to Elementary and, over the past seven years, has developed a strong focus on rehabilitation and retraining following injury, OCD surgery and ulcer or saddle-fit related issues.

A qualified vocational teacher and experienced facilitator, Ivanka brings a technical yet approachable style to her judging. She values professionalism, clarity and harmony, encouraging riders to know their test, understand the directives and ride with confidence and purpose. Her aim is that combinations leave the arena feeling proud of their effort, with constructive feedback they can take back into training.
