Riders can choose to represent their school as well as riding under their pony club - please enter school information and select the fee to also do the schools component. Schools team placings are made up of 4 riders per team competing in grades 1-4. Only riders in school years 7-12 are eligible for schools teams but primary school riders can represent their school as an individual. Riders competing in Grade 5 are not included in schools teams but can represent their school as an individual.
To use this event as a PC qualifier, riders must compete in PC uniform. If also riding in Schools division please bring your school jumper to presentations.

Marshalling
All riders are to present for gear check prior to reporting to the appropriate marshaller in the warm up area well before their estimated riding time. Riders who have not completed their C Certificate must report to gear check with a parent, DC or Club representative. The marshaller will call riders as appropriate.
Riders must be prepared to ride early if there are scratchings in their ring.

Body protectors and Helmets
Approved Body protectors are compulsory for all grades. PC riders must have Body Protectors tagged and they will be checked at gear check. All riders must have their helmets tagged.

Note: Schools competitors have an additional $5 to cover ribbons.
Schools classes information
Primary school riders are welcome to compete and represent their school in grade 4 & 5 but only scores from high school/college riders will be counted in the Team competition. Primary School riders entries will not be accepted in Grade 3 and above. Only scores from college and high schools entrants from Grade 1-4 will be counted in the Team competition.
Please note on your entry if you are competing in Schools classes as well as PC, what school grade you are in and which school you represent.
Steward/Helper
All riders must provide a steward/helper who is required to attend the event and be available to assist on the day. If you do not have a helper to assist on the day you will not be permitted to ride.
Water
Please Bring your own horse water.
Dogs
No dogs are allowed on the ground.
Parking
Parking space is limited at Monmouth so please park safely without wasting space. Please obey parking attendants’ directions.

Canteen
Canteen will be available.
Back numbers
Will be issued on the morning of the event. Riders must wear back numbers and helmets at all times when mounted, even in warm up. Please make sure hair doesn’t prevent number being seen. If the back number is not returned, you will be invoiced for the replacement cost.
Scratchings
Any riders who need to scratch must do so via their DC at the earliest possible time.
Protests
If you have a query regarding your score, you must refer it to your club DC or nominated club representative, who in turn will follow it through on your behalf. Under no circumstances are riders or parents to approach the scoring team direct. Any queries, including marshalling queries, must be referred to your DC or nominated club representative.
Unmounted - riders are to wear full pony club or schools uniform to the presentation. Ribbons will be awarded to 3rd place in all classes and up to 6th place dependent on numbers. Ribbons and trophies will be awarded to the Schools competitors.
