STATION SQUARE SHOPPING CENTRE ONE DAY EVENT

Venue: Maryborough Park – Bruce Highway, Maryborough

Closing Date: Friday, 30th August 2019 (unless classes fill earlier)

BIOSECURITY REQUIREMENT:

Horse Health Declarations are to be handed into the secretary’s office on arrival to the grounds before the start of competition.  Without a Horse Health Declaration, you will not ride!  The form can be downloaded from:

Camping & Stabling: To be booked via www.nominate.com.au through the Stables tab (Maryborough Showgrounds & Equestrian Park)

Stables/Yards - $7.80 per stable/yard from 6am – 6pm or part thereof

Stable/Yard Bond - $23 per stable/yard payable in advance and fully refundable if stable/yard left clean

Camping - $20.40 per site per night

Facility Fee: $15.60 for each and every horse for the duration of the event.

 

Discount: FCHT Member - $10 discount – EA CLASSES ONLYNOT PONY CLUB CLASSES

 

Competition Notes:

Saturday: Dressage starting at 8am and Show Jumping starting approx. 10.30am (if time allows all SJ will be done Saturday)

Sunday: Cross Country – start at 8am.  Body protectors and back numbers compulsory for XC phase.

Protests must be in writing, accompanied by $50.     Dogs must be kept on leash at all times.

This event is subject to the Eventing Queensland Safety and Development Fee

This event will be run under EA Rules - Riders in any EA class must be a current EA member & horses in EvA95 and above must have current EA membership.

It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure they hold the necessary minimum eligibility requirements to enter their desired class.  Please refer to Equestrian Australia National Eventing Rule 520.4

Class numbers: Class numbers won’t exceed 35 per class.  A waiting list will be held in case of scratchings.

Substitutions: We will accept substitutions of either horse or rider providing they are in the same class.  No other substitutions will be considered.

Pony Club XC briefing 3.00p.m Saturday

Sunday – XC starts 8am

XC Judges Briefing 7.15 am Sunday – Hall to be advised.

                                        

RULES AND CONDITIONS:

  1. Competitors ride at their own risk under the rules of PCAQ.
  2. The Judge’s decision is final in ALL events.
  3. Disputes are to be lodged within 30 minutes of the completion of any event and must be accompanied by a $50.00 fee.
  4. The Committee reserves the right to amend the program.
  5. All competitors must wear an approved helmet and be suitably attired in Pony Club Uniform.
  6. All competitors ride HC if they don’t hand in P/Card OR have number on Nomination form.
  7. Riders may enter 2 horses in same or different heights/grade/class. Each horse may gain qualifying results, each horse will be placed in its class and eligible for overall awards.

 

The Organisers reserve the right:

  6. To combine classes if less than 3 competitors

 

One helper/ penciller will be required for every 3 nominations or part thereof per club.

Rider’s club to ensure helping positions are filled. No helpers = No ride.

The club reserves the right to refuse an entry with or without providing a reason.

Refunds: Will be made providing the organizing body is advised of the scratching before the commencement of the event and a written request including a vet or doctor’s certificate is sent to the organizing committee within a week of the event. A 10% administration fee may be retained
