Australian Quarter Horse Association Youth World Cup Stallion Auction

The Australian Quarter Horse Association Youth World Cup Stallion Auction fundraiser aims to help support our Australian team to make their dreams a reality.

The Youth World Cup is an educational, leadership-based event involving youth from 19 countries. The international teams have the opportunity to participate in equestrian clinics, leadership seminars and first class competition. It is a unique opportunity for youth to learn and develop their equestrian skills in a hands-on-setting. Over 180 youth members will be participating in the 2018 YWC and they will be supported by families and friends from their countries.

Team Australia consists of nine team members, two managers and one coach testing their skills against the rest of the world. This is an opportunity for our Aussie youth to gain invaluable experience, meet new people and showcase the depth of talent we have here in Australia.

Your support in purchasing a Stallion service fee for this Youth development program is very much appreciated.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The AQHA Youth World Cup Stallion Auction shall be governed by the following Terms and Conditions:

• The stallion services purchased through the AQHA Youth World Cup Stallion Auction are for the 2018 breeding season only.

• The auction will be held from 9am 13th July to 12noon 7th September 2018, eastern standard time. You will be notified via e-mail prior to the 11th September 2018 you are the winning bidder. Full payment must be received at the AQHA office by 14th September 2018 by the successful bidder.

• Bidding is open to both members and non-members of the AQHA.

• Mare owners may submit a bid on any number of stallion services.

• All Breeding’s are via shipped semen only.

• All chute fees, mare care, semen collection and shipping fees, vet fees, breeding centre fees or any other applicable fees are the responsibility of the buyer. To find out any other fees that may apply, it is the buyer’s responsibility to check with the breeding facility where the stallion is presently standing.

• Normal individual stallion breeding contract requirements shall apply to the purchased breeding.

• One live foal only guaranteed. Stallion owner will lodge breeding return with the AQHA and sign foal specific Application for Registration which will be passed on to the mare owner.

• Breeding’s purchased through the AQHA Youth World Cup Stallion Auction are not transferrable and may not be re-sold by the purchaser.

• The AQHA is acting as a selling agent of the stallion owner and can in no way be held responsible for stallion and/or mare owners inability to get mare bred.

• Neither the AQHA, nor its Board of Directors shall intervene between the purchaser of the stallion service fee and the stallion owner.

• There will be no refunds for any reason whatsoever.

• Minimum bids - 50% of Advertised Donated Stud Fee. The minimum stud fee will be the opening fee listed in the auction.

• Bids will increase in increments of $50.00.

• Bids are binding. Bids may not be retracted once submitted.
