    LOCATION

The Course is built on a Sandy Loam which has proven to recover exceptionally quickly after even extreme rains. The Sunshine Coast is one of Australia’s favourite holiday destinations and as population figures show, is becoming an increasingly popular place to live. It is a totally unspoilt environment, with a relaxed lifestyle only an hour and half drive north of Brisbane.

10 kilometres east of our Equestrian Centre is magnificent Noosa Heads. Pristine golden beaches, lush, tropical rainforests, wilderness parklands river and lakes, perfectly blended with the sophistication of Queensland’s most fashionable boulevard.

Noosa’s famous Hastings Street tempts you with cosmopolitan restaurants, chic sidewalk cafes and specialty designer boutiques, nestled between low-rise resorts and relaxed beachfront hotels.

Most of all, Noosa is a place of outstanding natural beauty and tranquillity. Because Noosa’s beaches face North, you will be bathed in warm reflected sunlight all day long, protected from the wind by the Noosa Hill behind you. The clean Noosa River invites you to explore the freshwater lake system deep within the Cooloola National Park. The excellent fishing is one of Noosa’s greatest attractions, not to mention the sailing, boating, swimming, sailboarding and nature photography opportunities. The native bird and animal life will delight you. All this and three world-renowned international resorts within 15 minutes of our facilities.

THE CLIMATE

The Sunshine Coast averages seven hours sunshine per day, one of the highest ratings in the world. Summer heights are normally tempered by sea breezes, with the average temperature range from 20.1 to 28.5 degrees Celsius. Winter days are characteristically mild and sunny, while Autumn and Spring are very popular with visitors.

Our climate far exceeds anything else on offer throughout Australia with year round uninterrupted training weather, minimal acclimatisation for both horse and rider.

Just a short ride through the natural bushland is magnificent Lake Weyba. The lake is a tidal salt-water lake and is a natural therapeutic and aerobic training area for the fitness of eventing horses.

PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

The eventing course offers a variety of promotional opportunities. The course will run through the heart of the Park, offering extensive signage opportunities including premier points, and the Start/Finish areas. Other opportunities include merchandising and sales opportunities, sampling, direct mail access, product displays, etc. No matter what your product the One-Day Event provides the perfect opportunity to develop your promotion and marketing to an eclectic audience.
