Please tick the External Competitor Box upon entry and the committee will forward you the relevent paperwork.

All external competitors bringing a horse into the centre are required to complete this Animal Declaration Form and submit it on the CPEC website.

External competitors are required to be members of CPEC Members Club. You can become a day member for only $10 or join for the calendar year.

2026 CPEC MEMBERS CLUB POINT SCORE

The aim of the Junior and Senior point score competition is to encourage more riders to our monthly competitions. There will be annual prizes awarded to:

- Junior and Senior dressage and show jumping champion (combined points from both nights)

- Junior and Senior dressage champion (points for dressage nights)

- Junior and Senior show jumping champion (points for jump nights)

The points are tallied from each event throughout the year, meaning the more events you compete in, the better your chances of being our annual winner. Prizes include trophies, rugs and goods and will be announced at our annual Christmas party at the conclusion of all 2026 events. Points will be tallied for all dressage and jump nights and will be monitored by the Committee.

Other

2026 Annual Point Score Rules

  1. All financial members are automatically included in the annual point score from the first event of the year.

  2. The age of junior is 16 years and under at the beginning of the calendar year.

  3. The age of a senior is 17 years and over at the beginning of the calendar year.

  4. The annual Point Score is calculated in Dressage and Jump Nights. Additional event nights added by the committee (e.g. Show Horse) do not count.

  5. Points are awarded per combination. Only one combination is able to accumulate points throughout each event night.

(i) If a rider owns more than one horse, he or she must nominate the preferred horse for the annual point score.

For example: Rider A owns Horse A and Horse B. Rider A nominates Horse B for the annual point score. Only Horse B’s placings will count toward the annual point score.

(ii). The nomination of the horse will be included in the entry of the first event night of the year. Should the nominated horse injure itself, be sold, or be excluded from events due to extenuating circumstances, it is at the discretion of the committee to allow a different/new horses points to be added to the accumulated tally.

For example, midway through the year, Horse B is sold. The rider must request the committee's permission to include Horse A in the point score from the next event.

(iii) Riding School riders are those who are clients of riding schools and use riding school horses on event nights.

(Iv) Children of riding school owners are considered private clients for the purposes of the annual point score regardless of the horse/s they ride. They are subject to the nomination rule as above.

(v) Riding school clients do not need to nominate the horse they are riding for the annual point score. Their points are calculated based on whichever horse they ride on the event night.

(vi) Riding school clients can accumulate points in the riding school class and open classes.

  1. Points are awarded as follows;
  2. 1st = 6 Points, 2nd = 5 Points, 3rd = 4 Points, 4th = 3 Points, 5th = 2 Points, 6th = 1 Point

  3. Only the first two competitive classes are awarded points. HC rounds, additional third rounds and additional dressage tests including pick your own test will not be awarded points, regardless of the placing earned.

  4. If a rider competes in primarily one discipline (ie. show jumping) but does any number of dressage events and receives points (ie. places 6th = 1 point), they may receive the overall rider award if their points are the top two overall (irrespective of being a ‘show jumping’ rider).

  5. No one rider will receive more than one rug at the annual championship.

  6. The calculated points are held by the committee. The decision of the committee is final.
