Join us for an exciting Mounted Games Regional School designed for riders and coaches of all experience levels!
This two-day school provides a fantastic opportunity to develop your Mounted Games skills, improve techniques, build confidence, and gain valuable knowledge from experienced instructors in a fun and supportive environment.
Saturday will consist of a full day of practical training, covering all aspects of Mounted Games including riding techniques, horse control, equipment handling, race strategies, teamwork, rider positioning, transitions, and competition skills. Sessions will be tailored to suit varying experience levels, allowing both newcomers and experienced competitors to develop and refine their abilities.
Coaches are encouraged to attend and participate throughout the school, gaining practical ideas, coaching techniques, and a deeper understanding of Mounted Games to take back to their clubs and riders.
Sunday will see riders put their newly developed skills into practice in a friendly mini competition, providing an opportunity to experience race conditions, build confidence, and apply what has been learnt over the weekend.
Whether you are new to Mounted Games, looking to improve your skills, or aspiring to compete at higher levels, this school offers a valuable learning experience while having plenty of fun with like-minded riders and ponies.

Gear check: 8:30 Commencing: 9.00am
Uniform: Informal Club Polo shirt, fawn or black jodhpurs or moleskin,
woollen jumper, spray jacket – no gaiters
Gear: As per PCA gear rules no spurs and whips are not allowed
Horse: Clean & tidy, no plaiting required
You will be placed in groups dependant on rider ability and skill level.
These groups will be determined by your senior instructor and regional coach
Many helpers will be required to make this day run smoothly.
