Welcome to the next CPEC Members Club Dressage Night for 2026. We look forward to seeing you there.
Numbers are limited, so please enter early to avoid disappointment.

This event is held in memory of Sigrid Schraef, owner and operator of Papillon Riding Stables at CPEC for over 30 years.

For any specific enquiries, please contact Jane Rodger (0415 299 063), who manages entries.

Please note: Riders under 16 years of age must have a parent, guardian or nominated adult onsite for the duration of the event.

CPEC Members Club Membership

Membership runs on a calendar year basis. All riders must be current financial members of both the CPEC Members Club and Equestrian Australia to compete.

If you are not a 2026 member, you will not be eligible to compete.

To check your membership status, or for enquiries, please contact Jane Rodger.

To join or renew your membership, visit Clubs (nominate.com.au) and complete the online form.

Equestrian Australia Membership

All riders must hold a current Equestrian Australia (EA) membership. Your EA number will be required at the time of entry and validated prior to close.

Please note: EA memberships are due for renewal from 1 July 2026.

Dress Code

• Light or white breeches/jodhpurs
• Jacket preferred
• Gloves compulsory
• Helmets must be tagged and compliant with EA rules

External Competitors

We welcome external competitors.

As CPEC is a government facility with full-time resident horses, an additional $25 per rider applies for those competing from outside CPEC.

Please select this option when entering. The committee will then provide the required Animal Health Declaration paperwork.

• Set up: 4:00pm
• First rider on course: 5:00pm sharp
• Draw will be emailed to competitors 24 hours prior

Food and Drinks

Food and drinks will be available for purchase on the night. EFTPOS facilities are available.

2026 CPEC Members Club Point Score

Our annual point score encourages participation across both dressage and jump nights.

Prizes will be awarded for:
• Junior and Senior Dressage & Show Jumping Champions (combined points) – Private & Riding School
• Junior and Senior Dressage Champions – Private & Riding School
• Junior and Senior Show Jumping Champions – Private & Riding School
• OTT Champion

Points accumulate across the year, so the more events you attend, the greater your chance of success.

Prizes include trophies, rugs and goods, and will be presented at the annual Christmas Party.

Please ensure you nominate one horse for point score accumulation.

Volunteer Requirement

Eligibility for the Annual Point Score is dependent on volunteer contribution.

Riders, or a nominated parent/carer, are required to assist across event nights and club activities throughout the year.

Please note:
• Pack-up in the park and mirror cleaning duties do not count towards volunteer requirements
• Volunteer contributions will be recorded and reviewed when determining eligibility

Other

2026 Annual Point Score Rules

  1. All financial members are automatically included in the annual point score from the first event of the year.

  2. The age of junior is 16 years and under at the beginning of the calendar year.

  3. The age of a senior is 17 years and over at the beginning of the calendar year.

  4. The annual Point Score is calculated in Dressage and Jump Nights. Additional event nights added by the committee (e.g. Show Horse) do not count.

  5. Points are awarded per combination. Only one combination is able to accumulate points throughout each event night.

    1. If a rider owns more than one horse, he or she must nominate the preferred horse for the annual point score.

      1. For example: Rider A owns Horse A and Horse B. Rider A nominates Horse B for the annual point score. Only Horse B’s placings will count toward the annual point score.

    2. The nomination of the horse will be included in the entry of the first event night of the year. Should the nominated horse injure itself, be sold, or be excluded from events due to extenuating circumstances, it is at the discretion of the committee to allow a different/new horses points to be added to the accumulated tally.

      1. For example, midway through the year, Horse B is sold. The rider must request the committee's permission to include Horse A in the point score from the next event.

  6. Riding School riders are those who are clients of riding schools and use riding school horses on event nights.

    1. Children of riding school owners are considered private clients for the purposes of the annual point score regardless of the horse/s they ride. They are subject to the nomination rule as above.

    2. Riding school clients do not need to nominate the horse they are riding for the annual point score. Their points are calculated based on whichever horse they ride on the event night.

    3. Riding school clients can accumulate points in the riding school class and open classes.

  7. Points are awarded as follows;

    1. 1st = 6 Points, 2nd = 5 Points, 3rd = 4 Points, 4th = 3 Points, 5th = 2 Points, 6th = 1 Point

  8. Only the first two competitive classes are awarded points. HC rounds, additional third rounds and additional dressage tests including pick your own test will not be awarded points, regardless of the placing earned.

  9. If a rider competes in primarily one discipline (ie. show jumping) but does any number of dressage events and receives points (ie. places 6th = 1 point), they may receive the overall rider award if their points are the top two overall (irrespective of being a ‘show jumping’ rider).

  10. No one rider will receive more than one rug at the annual championship.

  11. The calculated points are held by the committee. The decision of the committee is final.
