DERBY DAY COMPETITION: A perfect introduction to riding a cross country course. The course consists of 12 jumps, 6 show jumps and 6 x/country jumps over a distance of approximately 1200m.

Saturday 15 August '20  - Berry Equestrian Centre - 50 Schofields Lane Berry

Course Heights: 45cm, 60cm, 80cm, 95cm plus an Open Flagged course. 

Cost: BRC members - $10 / round, Non BRC members - $15 / round plus a compulsary admin & ground fee of $15 / rider

Entries close: Sunday 9 August '20

Conditions of Entry

  • Riders must be members of BRC or EA to participate in this event. BRC Event membership is available $20 / rider. Join via our website www.berryridingclub.com
  • All riders must wear a back protector.
  • Entry numbers limited to a total of 60 rounds.
  • Classes will be run as per program.
  • Maximum of 3 rounds per horse. Riders can ride the same height twice, with only the first round being competitive.
  • Ribbons to 5th place based on optimum time plus penalties on course.
  • The Draw will be emailed to riders after entries have closed.

Things you need to know,

>   Riding boots & EA compliant protective headgear must be worn at all times when riding.

>   A back protector must be worn.

>   It is the individual's responsibility to ensure that the horse and rider are fit for this competition. Club Officials have the right to stop a rider or horse participating on safety or welfare grounds. In such case the Club Officials' decision is final and refunds will not be given.

>   Dogs must be leashed or tied to your float at all times.

>   No refunds for cancellations or non attendence unless a valid veterinary or medical certificate is provided or the place can be filled from a reserve list.
