Open/Transitional Cost $35 per rider, Beginner Cost $25 per rider

This event is only open to current Financial members of a Pony Club . Riders to be aged between 3yrs and 26 years.

Clubs will be asked to validate membership is current. If you do not know your Pony Club number, write Unsure.

Camping available $15 per family includes horse yards, no power available. Must be prebooked. Gates open at 3pm Saturday.

1.Pony Club NSW Rules will be strictly enforced. Attention is drawn to the following

  • Pony Club Uniform is to be worn
  • PCA/ASA approved helmets must be worn
  • One horse, one rider – One rider, one horse
  • Pair and Teams to be made up from own club where numbers allow. If there are insufficient numbers from the same club then teams/pairs may be composed of mixed clubs. Not included in age point score.
  • Competitors must compete in their own age group / grade at all times


2. Age is taken as that on the day of the gymkhana

3. The committee may change the program, classes or age groups as it sees fit

4. Ribbons will be awarded to 5th place

5. Gaiters not allowed in ring events

6. Judges decision is final. Rudeness and disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated

7. Age Champions will be awarded as follows: (may be changed dependant on numbers)

  • Open: Under 9yrs, 9&u11yrs, 11&u13yrs, 13&u15yrs, 15&u17yrs and  Associate Rider
  • Transitional: Under 9yrs, 9&u12yrs and over 12yrs
  • Beginner: Under 7yrs, 7&u9yrs and 9&u12yrs
  • Beginner Led: Under 7yrs, 7&u9yrs and 9&u12yrs


8. Riders in beginners ring may not compete in any other rings

9. Each club is responsible for nominating a team manager and conducting their own gear check before each event/phase of the competition.

10. Open rings will rotate as they are available. 

11. Pleasure Hack - To be ridden in an ordinary Snaffle bit. No Hanoverian or Dropped Nosebands. No whips, spurs, or martingales

12. Transition Riders – defined as riders who can ride independently in a group -walk and trot, with some individual canter at judges discretion. (no cantering in a group)

13. All ribbons, trophies and prizes not collected at presentation will be forfeited

14. Handler class will be judged with horses saddled.
