· The Ringmaster & Committee reserves the right to alter, delete or combine, without notice, any event on the program.

· Hack and Breed Entry on the day.

· Showjumping Entry via Nominate by Wednesday 3rd October 2019 by 5pm.

· Entry Tickets are to be purchased from the Horse Ticket Office on the day of the Show.

· ENTRY TICKETS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE

· The Committee reserves the right to substitute a judge, without notice.

· THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL.

· Disputes MUST be made in writing and lodged with a deposit of $150.00 within one (1) hour of the event. Deposits will be refunded if the dispute is found in favour of the lodging party.

· ALL RIDERS MUST COMPETE IN EA APPROVED HEADWEAR

· ALL EXHIBITORS’, RIDERS, DRIVERS, HANDLERS, ETC. MUST SIGN WAIVERS AND WEAR WRISTBANDS.

· All competitors must be suitably attired and must conduct themselves in an orderly manner at all times.

· Only Competitors actually taking part in an event will be allowed in the ring.

· The start of an event will not be delayed for a competitor taking part in another event.

· A Novice is an exhibit who/that has not won a first at a recognized Show.

· All stallions & colts are to be handled by a person 18 years and over at all times.

· Stallions are Not Eligible to compete in Open Hack or all Hunter Classes unless specified.

· All Breed classes must be registered with the relevant Society and be current financial members. Papers WILL be checked at random. Failure to comply will incur disqualification and loss of awards and prizes.

· A Child Rider is a Rider under 17 years. Adult Rider is a Rider 17 years and over.

· Off The Track—The event is open to all Thoroughbreds that have officially raced or trialled either locally, nationally or internationally. All horses are required to be 3 years and over and 14.2hh and over. All horses will be Registered with Racing Australia. Registrations will be checked.

         Racing name to be used.  Horse & Owner must reside in ACT or NSW to compete in Off The Track ACT/NSW Series.

· Hacks and Show Hunters to compete only in their respective classes.

(Hacks not to compete in Show Hunters Classes, Show Hunters not to compete in Hacks Classes - with exception of Ridden Classes e.g. Child, Adult and Pleasure Classes)

· Prizes shall be Ribbons.

· Champion & Reserve Champion Awards will be made at the discretion of the Judge. The Champion will be selected from the First Place winners from each of the eligible classes. The Reserve Champion following the selection of Champion, will be selected from the remaining 1st Prize winners and 2nd Prize winner from the class which supplied the Champion.

NEWCOMER DEFINITION

· For horses that have never competed under saddle in any discipline or competition, (excluding Racing Events) official or unofficial anywhere, prior to a date determined by each State/Territory in which the horse resides and is registered.

· A Pony that has only competed in Leading Rein or Miniature Turnouts and has not competed off the lead is eligible to be considered a Newcomer.

· A horse that has competed in breed classes under saddle is NOT eligible to be considered a Newcomer. Competing in ridden breed classes prior to the qualifying period will render a horse or pony ineligible to compete as a newcomer.

· The Horse must be shown in a snaffle bridle.

· Stallions are NOT eligible to compete in Newcomer classes.

· The onus is on the owner to ensure they meet the conditions of entry as stated.

· The Bathurst AH& P Association Newcomer competition dates are from 1/1/19 through to 31/12/19

 

STABLING- Large horses will have priority over large stables & yards and heavy horses will have priority over heavy horse yards.

Those who need stallion boxes for the day MUST book them as per any other exhibitor.

Stables are booked on a 24 hour basis 5pm to 5pm.

Stables/yards must be vacated by 5pm on the day of departure if not booked for that day. Bedding will not be provided.

All stables to be cleaned and all bedding removed by departure time. Failure to comply will result in the $30 cleaning deposit being forfeited to the Association.

Refunds – Stabling fees will not be refunded if the stabling is cancelled.

·         ENTRIES

§         Enter online at: www.nominate.com.au

§         Entries will open Friday 30th August 2019.

§         Entries close at 5pm Wednesday 2nd October 2019.

§         Change of Classes after closing date/time and late entries may incur a surcharge.

§         No entries will be accepted unless accompanied by the correct entry fee, camping/stabling fee, stable/yard bond and EA numbers (where required).

§         Limit of 3 entries per horse per day. The Association wishes to remind competitors and horse owners that the Exhibit’s (horse) welfare must be considered above all else when making entry decisions.

§         Refund of entries will be given for scratching made before 5.00pm Wednesday 3rd October 2019. No Refunds after the closing of entries.

·         ·    RULES

§         The Bathurst AH&P Association General Rules, General Regulations & the Spring Show Supplementary Regulations shall apply.

§         THE FEI Rules for Jumping and EA Addendum to the Rules will apply.

§         All horses must be registered with the EA to enter & compete in Official classes.
