Qualification (Applies to
International and National)
A reverse qualifications is triggered by two
consecutive Cross Country eliminations or a total of three Cross Country
eliminations within a 12 months rolling period of time in competitions EvA95
For this purpose the relevant reasons of elimination
on Cross Country would be:
Three refusals… XC-R
Fall of Horse or Athlete… XC-FR
Fall on The Flat…XC-FOF
check results and be mindful when entering competitions if the Combination
(horse & rider) or the horse has been eliminated twice
consecutively or three times in 12 months.
The horse (or combination if applicable)
is required to obtain at least one MER, at the level below, the level that
triggered Reverse Qualification.
for Show Jumping Elimination

Automatic Elimination (applies if Show Jumping is before Cross Country) New Code
At CCN competitions combinations having more than
20 penalties in CCN2* and above levels will automatically be subject to
Compulsory Retirement and may not start the Cross Country phase. It will be
scored as SJ-AE.
At CCI competitions combinations incurring 20 or
more Show Jumping penalties will automatically be eliminated and may not
start the Cross Country phase.
