ETas Show Horse are conducting a child and young rider 2 day camp at Coal Valley Equestrian Centre on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th July Twenty-26.

This will be a 2 day event with riding, group skills and other horse related riding activity each day from 9am to approximately 1pm. Lunch will be at the conclusion of these activities and included. The kids will then move to other activities and demonstrations including jumping and course building.

After riding we will take the kids to another exercise activity to have fun and build friendships. There will be responsible persons accompanying the children at all times. All parents are welcome to come along. This is likely to be the second day of camp and the end activity.

There will be a hands on presentation seminar where the kids will learn how to present a horse, from plaiting to make-up to tails and back again and we also will try to have experienced riders doing jumping and dressage/show horse demonstration rides. We expect to also run a 'mini-show' to compliment the skills the kids have learned.

Horses can stay overnight in yards, please book this requirement if you wish.

There are also limited stables, please book these with your entry.

Spaces are limited. The cost is all inclusive including the facility fee for 2 days and catering but it is also possible to just attend one day. I have listed one day as a seperate cost to the two days.

At all times your children will be supervised and accompanied by responsible adults who are very involved in the horse industry as well as senior Equestrian Australia Coaches.

This will also be a friendship and support building two days for our young riders as we move towards the year ahead and develop skills.

Ages will be 4 yrs to 17 yrs and must be at least participant member of Equestrian Tasmania. Any child under the age of 8 yrs must have an adult accompany them during the day. Please contact me for further details if required.

Please answer the compulsory questions on the event about your child. This will assist us manage medication, diet and other variables.
