Unofficial: Rider must be EA registered or have Byalee Equestrian Club membership. The horse does not need EA registration.
Official: EA membership is required but rider need not be a Byalee Equestrian Club member.
Young Rider: 15 to 21 on the day of the competition
Junior Rider: 14 and under on the day of the competition
OTT: must have a registered racing name (in any State)

Terms and Conditions of Entry
The Byalee Equestrian Club Stone Real Estate Dressage Championships will be held in accordance with current 2026 EA National Dressage Rules effective 1st January 2026 and any subsequent amendments.
Levels
Two consecutive levels only per horse allowed, maxiumum two tests per horse as per EA rules. Riders may ride multiple horses.
Calllers
Callers are permitted in all EA tests but not FEI tests.
Riders
Riders may be changed before the start of competition. However, rider may not be changed if another rider has ridden the horse on the day. Draw position cannot be changed without the permission of the Organising Committee. One rider per horse for the entire event.
Numbers
Bridle and EA numbers (where applicable) as well as PIC numbers must be shown on the entry form. Two bridle numbers, one on each side of the horse, must be clearly displayed while riding in front of the judge’s car.
Scratchings
Scratchings will be accepted up to the closing date of the competition.
Refunds
Before entries close for the competition you may receive a full refund. After entries close, refunds will only be issued if accompanied with a vet or doctor’s certificate is received by the event secretary within one week of the event. The grounds fee is non-refundable.
Ribbons
Ribbons will be awarded to 6th place depending on the size of the class.
Gear Check
All competitors must present to the gear steward immediately after their test. Failure to do so WILL incur elimination – this is an EA rule not a Byalee Equestrian Club rule.
Helmets
Approved and tagged helmets must be worn. New untagged helmets can be tagged by the gear steward prior to mounting. Helmet Standards: Approved 2017+ helmets only (rider responsibility).
Preparatory tests
Are open to riders who have not competed at FEI level, and to riders who have not won a preparatory test in that horse or won a higher level test on that horse. HC entries are accepted.
Dogs
No dogs.
Cancellation
In the event of the competition being cancelled due to weather, entry fees will be refunded except for the Nominate admin fee.
Entries
No horses are to be ridden at the competition unless they are entered in the competition and the riders are current members of EA or Byalee Equestrian Club and have entered a test. Please advise if you wish to simply ride and not complete a test and we will leave you out of the draw.
Presentations
Winners will be expected to be part of promotional photographs at our presentation area to show support for our sponsors.
