We are looking forward to our next training day and lesson weekend happening on 22nd & 23rd August 2026. This is set to be fabulous weekend of learning, having fun, enjoying our equine partners and training for our club competition in September.
On Saturday we have group lessons with Kari Iggulden, and Sunday is a training day. You may attend one or both days.
Saturday 22 August: Group Lessons with Kari Iggulden - Places Limited
This is a great opportunity to learn with a highly skilled an knowledgeable Working Equitation person.
Kari Iggulden's experience/skills include:
- Competed in WE up to Cons 1
- An accredited Judge
- Trained/handled/started horses for decades
- Has been part of the ANWE Technical Committee
Kari is very familiar with the working equitation rules
We have 12 spots: 3 groups of 4 and will run for 1.5 hours. 8.30am-10am, 10.30am -12pm & 1.00pm - 2.30pm,
$70 (plus ground fees $10 and camping as required)
Camping available at the Showgrounds.
Booking via nominate
We usually go to the Bellingen pub on Saturday night, or you are welcome to bring your own meal and have it at the Showgrounds. You will have access to our camp kitchen with fridge and microwave.
Sunday 23 August: Training Day
Sunday will be dedicated to a full day of training. The obstacle course will be set up, and we will also have our dressage arena ready for use.
The obstacle in focus for the training day will be the side pass pole with a review of the rules for each level.
We will be organising group slots for both the obstacle course and the dressage arena to ensure everyone gets ample time to practice and improve.
You are welcome to come for the whole weekend or just join us for Sunday. Camping is available.
