The Queensland Branch of the Andalusian Horse Association of Australasia in conjunction with Moon Mountain Sanctuary would like present 2 X Semen Straws from Meruelo PRE (Imp) for Raffle. 

The Raffle Tickets are 1 X ticket for $30 or 2 X tickets for $50.

PRE Meruelo (Imp)

ANCCE Approved breeding stallion

Meruelo is a magnificently bred stallion from the Yeguada Militar in Jerez, Spain(birth date 2013). His lineage tracks back to the famous Lebrijano 111. Meruelo is athletically powerful and has a natural talent for airs above the ground.

Meruelo’s first foals were born last year and he has stamped his conformation and easy going temperament  on the foals.

Mereulo now lives in a herd at Moon Mountain Sanctuary running free for the first time since he was a foal.

Only frozen  semen available.

Conditions of Entry:

1.  2 X Semen Straws are available for use only as this prize allocation.
2. There will be no live foal guarantee. (There are a limited number of straws currently in storage and no further semen is being collected.)
3. The Semen Straws are only available for use over the next 3 breeding seasons - 2024 - 2026 Breeding Seasons
4. The Semen Straws are currently being stored at Cooroora Veterinary Clinic (Cooroy) and West Vets Clinic (Anstead). These locations have the Facilities to carry out the AI procedure if the winner prefers.
5. The transportation costs are at the Winners Expenses if neither of the above 2 locations are used to carry out the AI Procedure.
6. A Stud Service Certificate will be provided to Winner/Owner of the Mare upon confirmation of AI Procedure and confirmation of Pregnancy.
