Entry Qualification
- NSW Police employees (including volunteers in policing)
- Full-time NSW government employees with a law enforcement role;
- Fire and Rescue NSW
- NSW Ambulance
- NSW State Emergency Service
- NSW Department of Community and Justice
- NSW Rural Fire Service
- NSW Sheriffs office
- NSW Mines Rescue
- Australian Federal Police (posted to NSW)
- Australian Defence Force (posted to NSW)
- VRA Rescue NSW
- Doctors, Nurses and Midwifes Association NSW
- Retired and imediate family members from each of these agencies are also encouraged to take part
All Entrants/Riders must be a member of the NSW Police Equestrian Club and have their own personal EA Competitor insurance.
Riders over 12 years of age and over.
(All Excemptions via application process, requires approval before entry)
Stallions not permitted to be ridden/handled by anyone under 18 years of age. (No Excemptions)
Stallions must be under control by owner/rider at all times.
Identification Compulsory green bridle identification must be worn at all times outside of the stable/yard.
No Campanion Animals: Campanion horses/ponies, dogs or other companion animals are not permitted on the grounds. All horses on the grounds must be booked into at least one showjumping and/or dressage event (Rescue Relay and Troop horse event excluded) - Strictly NO DOGS - if you arrive with a dog you will be asked to leave and will not be able to compete.
Rules:
- In the case of bad weather, incidents or cancellation updates will be posted on our social media page - it is your responsibility as a entrant to check for updates.
- All Participants/entrants must hold EA insurance. All details are to be supplied on entry and insurance is to be valid at date of competition.
- No Campanion Animals: Campanion horses/ponies, dogs or other companion animals are not permitted on the grounds.
- All BYO yards are to be panneled yards no rope, electric fencing etc.
- No more than 2 horses per rider.
Maximum of 4 competitive classes over Dressage and Showjumping per horse (Fun events Rescue Relay & Troop Horse excluded)
- Games will run in accordance with the NSW Police Games rules, regulations and the Police NSW Equestrian Club constitution.
- Australian Standards approved riding helmets and correct riding footwear must be warn by ALL riders when riding including classes and all warm up areas.
- Service or Agency uniforms are permitted for serving riders only, however not required. (Under 18 / non serving members are not permitted to ride in service attire.)
- NSW Police Games medals will be awarded in all classes to third place.
- Champion will be awarded in all championship sections. Thank you to our wonderful sponsors.
- Point scores will be based on horse/rider combination.
- Showjumping may compete 2 consecutive rounds in the one height, second round will be HC (Hors Concours). E.g if wanting to compete in the 45cm SJ only and do a total of 4 rounds your 2nd class in the A2 and Accumulator will be HC)
- Dressage will run to scheduled time no exceptions.
- Gear and Horse welfare checks will be completed.
- Any mistreatment to other entrants, volunteers, judges or horses will not be tollerated.
- All complaints are to be lodged at the committee desk in writing.
- Competition rules apply, Committee decision is final.
All Photos taken may be used on social media, Championship photos will be shared with sponsors. We ask that you share your achievements/fun had on the day and Tag our wonderful sponsors to show your appreciation for their support.
