🐴 Competition Levels

• Preparatory → Small Tour

👧 Pony, Junior, Young Riders, AOR & RWD

• Pony: Select PONY when entering.

• Junior (under 16 years): Select JUNIOR when entering.

• Youth (16 - under 21 years) - Select YOUNG RIDER when entering.

• Rider with Disability (Para) - Select RWD when entering.
  
  ⚠️ Entries cannot be changed once the draw is published. No changes to categories will be made so check entries carefully!

📝 Membership Requirements

• Unofficial (Closed Unrestricted): Must hold EA number or Singleton Dressage Club membership. Horse does not need EA registration.

• Unofficial (Closed Restricted): Must be a member of Singleton Dressage Club.

• New Members: Fill out membership form via Singleton Dressage website before entering.

Entry Fees:

• Closed Restricted (Unofficial): $30/test

• Members discount: $7/test

🙌 Volunteering

• All riders must volunteer at least 1 hour on competition day (or nominate someone) or pay a $40 volunteer levy. If you are unsure if you are able to volunteer you must pay the levy first and we will happily refund this if you are able to help on the day. Last minute changes will not be accomodated and will result in you forfeiting your entry without refund. You are expected to sign up for your preferred job before the due date (this is provided with the draw). Failure to do so will result in a job assigned randomly and may adversely impact you.

• Sign-up link will be included with the draw and on the Facebook page.

• Note: $40 volunteer levy automatically charged unless you tick the “Volunteer Discount – I agree to volunteer” box.

• ⚠️ Failure to complete your volunteer duty will result in your entry being marked HC and an invoice for the $40 fee issued. By entering this competition you have read and accepted these terms.

📌 Conditions of Entry

• Entries accepted in order received. Members get priority.

• Riders may ride max 3 tests per horse and a maximum of 2 horses per rider.

• Horses may not compete in more than 2 consecutive levels.

• Preparatory is only open to horses who have not:
  
  - Won a preparatory test, or
  - Won an end of year preparatory championship, or
  - Won a higher level test previously, or
  - Riders who have not competed at FEI level

• Juniors, Young Riders, AOR & Ponies must be declared on entry.

• Whips ≤ 1.2m (incl. tassel).

• Approved & tagged helmets must be worn (EA rules) This is the riders responsibility!

• Callers allowed for all tests except FEI.

• No lunging in main arena after 8am.

💰 Refunds & Scratchings

• Scratchings: Update via Nominate, Email: [email protected] or Call 0407 919 932.

• Before closing date → refund (less fees at clubs descretion).

• After closing date → refund only with Vet/Doctor certificate (at committee discretion).

🏅 Awards & Scoring

• Paperless scoring → results posted live to Nominate Scoreboard.

• Test papers emailed after ride.

• Ribbons to 6th place → collect at event.

  • If leaving early: provide correct coins & SAE to Secretary’s Office for postage of ribbons.

🏕 Camping & Stabling

• Camping and stabling are available at the Singleton Showground.

• Please contact the Showgrounds directly for bookings or additional information.

📌 Important Notes

• Event conducted under EA Rules → equestrian.org.au

• Helmet Standards: Approved 2017+ helmets only (rider responsibility).

• Memberships renew 1st January annually. Results won’t count toward pointscore without membership.
