Have you ever wondered what is happening underneath your horses shiny coat?
Do you understand the changes to a horses body when we sit on their backs? How do teeth impact bodies?
JOIN MAGGIE ASHLEY AND HER SKELTON TEAM FROM EVOLUTION EQUINE
PROGRAM commencing 9am: Maggie will guide us through the basics of equine anatomy with a focus on elements essential to a happy ridden partner.
All participants will examine real horse skeletons, look at how different joints move (or don't!) and compare small / large, young/old, hardworking or hard;y worked skeletons
Then we take the knowledge and apply this to our live friends! Working in groups, we will identify and draw major landmarks to understand just where it all fits in. We can also compare the confirmation / postural presentations of our live friends and discuss challenges / benefits of specific confirmation or injuries.
THIS EVENT WILL BE OPEN TO NON-LVRC MEMBERS IF NOT FILLED EARLIER
