Jumping Training Day
SUNDAY 14TH APRIL
A fun and encouraging day for riders to brush up on their jumping skills and then put them to the test in the afternoon. All levels welcome.
Morning: Lessons (Poles or jumps) $25 per horse
Group lessons of 3-5 riders held on the sand arena & XC area. Riders may ride more than 1 horse if they wish. Lesson times will be sent out once entries close. Numbers are limited so enter ASAP. If riders wish to jump XC jumps, they must have an EA approved body protector.
Afternoon: Jumping rounds $15 per horse
Rounds will start at pole on the ground, riders will need to indicate on nominate what height they would like to start at. Each horse may do a maximum of 3 rounds. Depending on the condition of the grounds, afternoon rounds may include some jumps on the grass.
Entries close 8pm Sunday 7th April
Colour theme - green. Great opportunity for those who like to use matching gear!
Located at the Huon Hoofbeats Club Grounds, 236 Mountain River Road.
All riders must be members of Huon Hoofbeats. Day membership is available on Nominate. All helmets must have yellow EA tags, tagging will be available.
Please bring water for your horses.
No dogs permitted at this event.

- Day membership fee of $10 required for non-members of Huon Hoofbeats

- Riders must wear an EA tagged helmet with the chin strap fastened at all times. Footwear must be safe and appropriate. Dress should be clean, neat and safe, no jackets required.
- Horses are required to be saddled and bridled when being ridden, approved bitless bridles acceptable.
- Any horse not under proper control can be ordered from the grounds. No cruelty to horse/s or abusive language will be tolerated
- Riders under 16 years old must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Children are to be supervised at all times
- Photos may be taken throughout the day for the Huon Hoofbeats website, newsletter or Facebook page. If you object to having your picture taken then please inform the photographer or a Club Official.
- The organising committee has the right to alter, omit or add to the advertised classes.
