25 JANUARY 2026

Start the training year on a good note!

BRC Presents:

FLATWORK LESSON GROUPS WITH PIP COLLINS

LUNCH INCLUDED

Pip Collins is an EA-accredited coach, Working Equitation judge, and accomplished rider whose approach to training is deeply inspired by the late Major Miguel Tavora. Tavora, a master of classical dressage and one of Australia’s most influential equestrian educators, instilled in Pip the values of progressive, horse-centered training and respect for the classical principles of equitation. Pip carries forward this legacy in her coaching and judging, helping riders achieve harmony, confidence, and success in both dressage and working equitation.

Pip will be providing hour long group lessons, max of 4 riders.

Cost per rider, which includes lunch, is $30.

There is also the option to come down, watch some lessons, use the main and other dressage arenas (not the XC course or SJ arena) and have lunch with us - great for getting your horse out and about and practicing that float loading - no pressure - $10.

If you have questions for Pip - make sure to bring a notebook and ask them at lunch.

Lead Committee Member for this day is Helen Blain.

CODE OF CONDUCT, SAFETY and INSURANCE

Please ensure that your gear/equipment/horse/pony is in good safe working order.

If you are riding, you will be required to wear a tagged riding helmet approved by  EA (Equestrian Australia) and appropriate clothing and footwear.

BRC is an EA affiliated club and, as such, is covered by Public Liability Insurance.

EA members are also covered under insurance whilst riding and training their horses. However, being a BRC member only does not mean that you are automatically covered under insurance. You should consider if holding your own personal accident or loss of income insurance is right for you if you are not also an EA member.

A scratching fee will apply.  Full refunds are only available if there is a rider on the waitlist or on receipt of a veterinary or medical certificate.
