Lesson options may include:
Flat/Dressage; Trot Poles, Gymnastic pole work (raised trot poles); Showjumping to 40cm, 70cm, over 70cm; Cross country walk/trail; Cross country jumping; Ground work/ agility obstacles; Greenhorse/Nervous riders.
Please add all your choices (that you have selected on the Event Poll on facebook), in the Notes section on Nominate, and in order of preference. Preferably 4 choices, so we can do our best to accomodate your preferences.
We have 2 coaches booked for this rallly, Camille Velnaar and Liz Booth.
Gates open from 0830
There is plenty of space if you need to warm up before your lesson. No lunging in the arenas once horses enter the arena mounted. Please be ready 5 minutes before your lesson start time.
First group lessons start at 0930, finishing around 1145 (dependant on final number of groups). We will try our best to allow you a half an hour break before your second lesson.
After the rally we will have morning tea in club rooms and then Jenny Wilson from Performance Saddle fitting will give a talk, at around 1215-1230.
Any issues or scratchings please contact Brigitta via messenger. If you dont use messenger, please mention this in the notes on nominate. Please let me know if you can no longer attend after entries close, and I can post on the facebook group to see if someone would like to take your lessons. Riders are expected to help set up grids/jumps etc, and/or after rally to pack up and clean up manure from arenas.
We are trialling shorter lessons and smaller groups so that it will allow more lesson options, be easier to group riders of simliar level and to what they prefer, more encouraging for nervous riders/anxious horses. Having a shorter lesson with just a few riders it will be more concentrated and focussed, and less time sitting on your horse watching others. Better for our horses, and our own bodies too.
Feedback welcome, so please come along to morning tea after rally.
NEW MEMBERS can apply on JustGo website, there is lots of info on the Huntingfield Pony and Riding Club website, and ask to join our facebook group with lots of info and photos, contact Brigitta via messenger, or email [email protected]
