It's time to talk tough trails!
Get ready for a weekend full of dust, fun, and serious horsepower at the NQ Ultimate Trail – a debut event like no other! Hosted at the beautiful Gumlow Agistment and Training Facility and run under the official rules of the Ranch Horse Association of Australia, this show is all about bringing together the best of ranch and trail pattern riding in one epic, fun-filled event.
Don't have a western horse...oh don't worry, we have a heavy horse category and cater for mini riders too!
Ranch riding is for every horse .. big or small .. fast or slow !
Whether you're here to ride, cheer, learn, or just soak up the good vibes, there’s something for everyone. Expect a packed day with challenging courses, friendly faces, and plenty of laughs – all in a laid-back, supportive atmosphere where good horsemanship shines.

Starting at 8 am
Lead-in 
for young Horses two & under two-year-old
Mini on lead line 
Junior Youth (Under 14) 
Youth (14–18) 
Green Rider (Walk/Trot only) 
Green Horse 
(Young horses or horses with little showing experience)
Intermediate Horse 
Intermediate Rider 
Heavy Horse 
(Clydesdale, Shire, Gypsy Cob + derivatives)
Open 
(Western saddle required – chaps/chinks, split reins OR hackamore)
Traditional Open (Romels/Hackamore, chaps/chinks, western saddle)
