Bellingen Working Equitation Competition Weekend 23/24 May 2026

Come and test your skills amongst the beautiful Bellingen Showgrounds!

“HOTY” competition (Horse Of The Year).

This is a 3-phase competition: dressage, Ease of Handling (obstacles) and Speed. 
The weekend will consist of an obstacle familiarisation on Saturday morning, and competition Saturday afternoon and Sunday.

We are offering ribbons up to 6th place as well as Champion/Reserve champion sashes. 

Saturday 23rd May 2026 Familirisation and commencement of competion

Saturday morning can be used to familiarise your horse with the obstacles - Timeslots will be available to ensure everyone gets a chance on the course. Priority will be given to riders competing or helping during the weekend (choose a job as you register). 

The Competition will begin either late morning or in the afternoon depending on entries, starting with the dressage phase for all levels and the 1st EOH phase for Introductory may also run Saturday afternoon.

Day and times will be announced when draw is emailed to competitors.

Sunday 24th May2026 Competition Continues.

2nd & 3rd phases: Ease of Handling (obstacles) and Speed (Intro level does not have speed but will do a 2nd Ease of Handling round).

All competition participants are asked to help with a job.

Camping and stabling are available with bookings via nominate when entering our event.
