🏇 So what IS tent pegging?
Tent pegging originated in India as a tribal pastime. It was taken up by the soldiers of the British cavalry to be used as a Mounted practice for warfare. Tent pegging is a team or relay race where you and your horse aim to pick up or knock down pegs with a sword or lance – as fast and accurately as possible. But don’t worry, we’ll be doing a beginner-friendly version at walk and trot. Yes, you WILL be riding with a sword or lance – but no sharp points! Safety first, always at YEA! 🛡️
💥 This rally is all about control, balance, timing, precision, and that incredible horse-rider connection – building on everything we’ve worked on this year. Watching Harry and Leigh in action will show you what’s possible – and you’ll get to give it a go too!
📲 Registration is via Nominate (link in the comments!). Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out – it’s going to be a seriously unforgettable day!
