Jumping Tasmania State Squad Clinic
Coach: Ben Netterfield Date: 23rd - 24th May Location: Andrew Wilson’s Indoor Arena Address: 1401 Illawarra Rd, Carrick Cost: $120/day or $200/weekend (We are thankful for the support of Jumping Tasmania to ensure that the clinic prices will be capped at this price regardless of the ongoing fuel/financial climate, in the hope that it will help riders to be able to attend.)
If a squad member’s nominated squad horse is not currently in work, then you are encouraged to bring along a non-squad horse if such horse is of squad level ability. Riders may also nominate a second horse if in the event there are vacant positions. Subject to clinic nominations there may be an opportunity for there to be a young horse group at this clinic.
Ben Netterfield is an EA Level 3 Showjumping Coach Educator. He is one of Australia’s most respected showjumping coaches with National and Olympic team coaching experience. Ben is also a mindset coach specialising in working with people with anxiety, trauma and reviving rider confidence. Ben is no stranger to the Tasmanian jumping community, having visited frequently for both clinics and coach education days. We are extremely excited to welcome him as the new State Coach and look forward to benefiting from the wealth of knowledge and experience he brings to Tasmania.
Important Information * Please ensure you cleanup all manure and hay from around your vehicles prior to departure. * We are looking at holding a mindset session over lunch so if riders can factor this into planning their day and hanging around/getting there early to be available to join in. * At the completion of Saturday some fences may need moving for raking and watering. Pack up will be after the final lesson Sunday. Also please when not riding come into the arena and stand quietly somewhere to assist with any pole picking up during lessons - many hands make light work * This is private property. No dogs are to be brought to the venue. * Manure pickup of indoor needs to be maintained…if spectating please assist with this. There are wheel barrows and rakes at both entry gates. * Apparel – neat and tidy in Hygain Uniform would be super. * No one is permitted up the stairs onto the mezzanine floor.
