H2H MEMBERS PRACTICE DAY & "Come & Try"
ARENA & OBSTACLES FAMILIARISATION
Location: Tall Timbers PC Grounds

9:00am to 2:30pm

Total running time: 9:00am to 2:30pm please ensure you are available to commit for the whole time, ALL participants are expected to help set up and pack away.
Gates Open: 8:30am
Time: Arrive Before 9:00am park and unload
Arrival Time & Set up: from 9:00am Arrive at Tall Timbers PC Grounds, ALL participants are expected to help set up even if they are travelling from further away.
Sign in table opens: 9:00am this is when H2H Members can put their name down for a 20min arena session with 2 people. Depending on numbers there may not be enough arena session slots to accomodate every member entered. Mark is running some ridden pattern sessions, he will have two groups of 3 riders for approx 1hr, those who have entered Marks ridden session are able to practice obstacles and dressage as well as time permits. "Come and Try" riders will be mentored for the day.
Morning Briefing: 10:00am President’s Welcome and rider briefing. Tall Timbers Grounds etiquette and rules will be explained. Located in front of the Club House.
DISCLAIMER: Depending on numbers of entries, timing and type of sessions may be adjusted.
Arena Familiarisation: Members ride for a pre-selected 20 minute time slot to ride in the arena. Please ensure you are time-aware. If you are late you will only have the remaining time or miss out.
Obstacle Courses: The number of obstacles and courses will be determined on the day pending the number of participants.
Ridden Session with Mark: Mark will run 2 groups of 3 riders through ridden patterns to work on flexion, accuracy and softness.
Only for emergency reasons can participants leave before packing up.
NO DOGS ALLOWED
Pack up and Lunch 2:30pm finish. All obstacles in top paddock and arena to be packed away.
**ALL PARTICIPANTS TO ASSIST**
Sausage Sizzle Lunch, yummy sausage sandwich (vegetarian available) and home baked morning tea for $5- pp available after pack up - please pre order and pay for catering purposes.
Additional information:
Please don't enter if you have another commitment in the afternoon which you need to dash off too before packing up.
If participants need to leave before pack up – please inform committee member.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 2026
All events will be held in accordance with the current Version at the time of writing of the Australian National Working Equitation Ltd (ANWEL) Rulebook and any subsequent amendments.
To enter Class 1 you must not belong to any working equitation club.
To enter Class 2 & 3 you must be a financial member of H2H & ANWEL to enter.
Please ensure you are available to commit for the whole time, ALL participants are expected to help set up and pack away.
