A horse can not be ridden in any class by more than one rider.
2 runs per horse is allowed but not in same event, maximum two horses per rider ( 2 different horses per event)
Post Works - 1 run per horse. Person can have 2 runs but on different horses.
Improver
Entry $80
2 minute working time maximum of 2 head of cattle
Horses may be ridden one or two handed, credit will be given to one handed riders. There will be no “1 Point” reining penalties in this class.
No restriction on the type of bit or saddle used. No tie-downs, rings or martingales allowed.
Maiden Snafflebit

2 minute working time maximum of 2 head of cattle
This is a two handed event for horses that
Horses must be ridden in: a smooth snafflebit, bosal, hackamore. No tie-downs, rings or martingales allowed.
There is no restriction on the type of saddle.
One Handed
Entry $105
2 and a half minutes with max of 3 head of cattle
This is a one handed event and run will be judged with NCHA standard rules
No tie-downs, rings or martingales allowed.
Juvenile 13yrs to 17yrs
Entry $45
2 minute working time maximum of 2 head of cattle (may be re-run cattle)
This is a two handed event for riders between 13 yrs and 17yrs of age
Horses must be ridden in: a smooth snafflebit, bosal, hackamore. No tie-downs, rings or martingales allowed.
There is no restriction on the type of saddle.
Junior 12yrs and Under

This is a two handed event for riders under 12yrs of age.

Beginner Snafflebit

This is a two handed event for horses or riders that

The large sand arena can also be used Saturday only for loping and warm up free of charge. The rear roundyard only near cattle (closest to loading ramp) can be also used for warm up. The other roundyard is out of bounds – too close to the cutting that will be happening.
Post Works Sunday
Cost $30
For those who want to work a cow in a show situation, this is timed and every cutter who wants to work a cow will have 5 minutes, NO tuition supplied, can have your own helper. Each person can have 3 cows.
