(5) Dee Roberts & Rocs Stockfeed Junior Youth 7- 13yrs (2 handed): Prizes
(6) Dee Roberts & Rocs Stockfeed Senior Youth 14 – 17yrs (2 handed): Prizes
(7) Kristian & Alex Mortgage Brokers Snaffle Bit (2 handed): $400 added
(8) M & T Equine Solutions Maiden Snaffle Bit (2 handed): $250 added

Definitions of Events
Novice Non-Pro – one handed event, open to all horses
Open Memorial Cutting – one handed event, open to all horses
Beginner Horse Any Rider – two handed event, open to all horses who have never, won or placed at any NCHA affiliated events and/or Open, Novice, Maiden, Encouragement or Futurity camp drafts
One Handed Beginner Horse – one handed event, this is an opportunity to ride one handed without reining penalties. You must attempt to ride one handed.
If a 2nd hand goes on the reins there are penalties. This is open to horses that have not won an NCHA affiliated event
Junior Youth 7yrs to 13yrs – two handed event borrowed horse is allowed
Senior Youth 14yrs to 17yrs – two handed event borrowed horse is allowed
Snaffle Bit – two handed event, Open to all horses who have never won or placed in a NCHA one handed class.
M & T Equine Solutions Maiden Snaffle Bit – two handed event, open to all horses who never won NQWHA Unrestrictive/Open event more than 3 times, NCHA snaffle bit class, or any Open, Novice Campdrafts.
Judged under NCHA Rules
Maximum of 2 horses per event
You cannot enter the same horse twice in one event/class
No nose bands of any kind, martingales, draw reins, tie downs are allowed
No restrictions on what type of saddle to be used. Beginner Horse Any Rider
must ride in a Snaffle Bit (NO SHANK BITS)
Mechanical Cow - PREFERENCE is given to the competitor who has their run coming up in next event
Kids must be accompanied by an adult when working the mechanical cow
There must be a minimum of 3 competitors for event to go ahead excluding kids
PROGRAM IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Dress Code – long sleeve buttoned or half buttoned shirt with collars, wide brim hat, riding boots with heel
No fishing shirts or caps allowed in the competition arena
If you scratch before nomination date closes you will receive a full refund
However, if you scratch after nomination closes you will receive your entry fee but not cattle hire ($30 Per Event)
NOMINATIONS CLOSE FRIDAY June 5th 5PM
There is a zero-tolerance policy for slapping or hitting a horse on the head, or any other part of the body, in any manner,
either with the rider’s hands, reins or an object. Using a bit in such a way that it causes bleeding from the mouth or face
Any act which the public would perceive to be a violation

POST WORKS
Start time: TBA
Post works – for riders and horses who wish to give their horse some training without Critique & work out of a herd. Slow and steady is key.
It is 5 mins 3 head of cattle. If you get what, you want done on the first or 2nd cow you don’t have to keep going.
Finish on a high note with your horse and you.
POST WORKS for Intermediate/Beginner
Mick Sutherland is kindly donating his time to offer positive, practical critique on your cow work and showing.
You have the option of working out of a Herd or with one cow in the arena at one time. 3 head of cattle can be used in total per person.
5 mins per run. One run per horse.
