The Ultimate Equestrian Weekend for ALL Riders
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build skills and confidence in a safe friendly environment, this weekend is made for you! Bring yourself—and your horse—along to explore dressage and soak up the fun at the fantastic Bendick Murrell YDA grounds.
Suitable for all levels, there are a host of coaches to choose from to help you on your journey. Read the Bio’s to see who might fit you best. From green horses, green riders to Grand Prix refinement we have got a coach to suit all your needs.

Cost includes:
- 2 x individual lessons
- 2 x group lessons
- Dinner sat night
- Yard/stable
- Camping on-site (unpowered). There is plenty of space and shade. There are toilets & hot showers. BYO generator if you require power.
Saturday & Sunday:
1 x individual lesson + 1 group lesson.
This will be an opportunity to discuss your goals with the coach, troubleshoot any issues you may have as a rider or with your horse and improve your skills.
Group lesson:
Join the wonderful Peter Gillis in a small group of up to five riders for a relaxed and supportive session. Horses will learn to work calmly together through warm‑up exercises and pole work, improving balance, suppleness and elasticity. Peter can also support riders with new or challenging horses, improve connection and build confidence in horse and rider. Peter is an EA Level 2 Equestrian coach with over 40 years eperience in eventing, jumping and dressage with a kind gentle approach.
Saturday Afternoon:
Happy hour + guest speaker/activity
Saturday night entertainment
Dinner and trivia – drinks with friends (BYO drinks)
Sunday morning FUNquestrian YOGA:
Bring a Yoga mat or towel and join us at 7:30am at the clubhouse for a guided warmup yoga session.
Catering:
We will supply dinner (BYO drinks), please pack breakfast and lunch – there will be light refreshments available at the clubhouse – tea coffee making facilities but no onsite vendor.
Come Ride With Us:
If you simply want to ride the grounds meet new people and stay the night with your horse you can sign up to ‘Come Ride With Us’. If you are entering and want to bring an extra horse or have a friend/partner that wants to bring their horse you can add ‘Come Ride With Us’ to your entry.
Don’t forget to order an extra ‘Dine’ if there are more guests for dinner.
Volunteering:
We do need a little help to run these camps smoothly. We will create a ‘SignUp’ link for you to choose your spots. Tasks such as setting up arenas, arena raking, getting the outdoor space ready for happy hour/dinner, morning tea and coffee runners and pack up. Keep your eye out for the link. We do appreciate everyone’s generosity volunteering.
