Introductory Horse Management and Riding

Are you ready to begin or progress your Equestrian Australia coaching pathway?

This supportive clinic is designed for young riders completing their EA Introductory Horse Management and Introductory Riding competencies.

The clinic will begin with practical training to help riders understand and demonstrate the skills required at this level. Riders will receive guidance, feedback and opportunities to practise before deciding whether they are ready to be assessed.

Assessment will then be available for riders who can confidently demonstrate the required knowledge and practical skills. The emphasis is on learning, improving and ensuring each rider is genuinely prepared—not simply completing an assessment.

Riders who are not yet at the required standard will receive constructive feedback and a clear understanding of what they need to practise before being reassessed.

A positive and encouraging clinic that helps young riders build knowledge, confidence and safe, correct skills in horse management and riding.

This clinic is for training for all riders and if you are 12 and over you can be assessed with the Equestrian Australia HM and Riding modules. I have attached the link for you to have a look at the 3 modules in each section.

Education Program slips - Introductory | Equestrian Australia

You would buy the books from the EA Just Go, so if you aren't a member, you don't need to be to get the books, but you will need to set up a J\ust Go EA member number so you can ourchase the books, as they are then attached to your name. Once they are emailed to you, print them out and bring them with you. We will work on the theory and riding and lunging sections over the three days.

Camping is included, riders stay in their own floats, (or local motel ).

There are showers and toilets at the venue.

Yards/Stables -

Please book yard/stables on Nominate at the same time as you book the camp.

Yards: $16.50/ day

Stables including bedding: $ 35/day

Covered Yards $22/day

Stable/Yard: $22/day

Yards/Stables to be cleaned before going - or feel free to pay the $5.50 to have a staff member clean for you. (This can easily be invoiced if you find it easier).
