SPRING SHOW & SHOW JUMPING QUALIFIER

Conditions of Entry / Information:

• A rider’s age is at 1 January 2025.
• A horse and rider combination may only complete in one Show Horse Ring (ie.Topsy / Beginner / Pony /Galloway or Hack).  Riders can also enter Rider Classes, Pairs & OTT Classes (if eligible), noting some may overlap.
• The “Topsy” Ring is for riders aged 10 or under (as of Jan 1), and includes Fancy Dress!
• The “Beginner” Ring is for green / young / inexperienced riders and/or horses. Beginner combinations include young horses / riders that are new to showing (open age).  Please be fair and reasonable when determining which ring to compete in and ask if you are uncertain.
• No classes will be held up for anyone, even if you have to move between rings.
• The “Novice” classes are for a horse or rider who has never won a first at ANY show.
• Best Presented is not eligible for Champion in each ring.
• Winners of other classes in the ring are eligible for the Champion class, with second placegetters to stand by for Reserve Champion.
• Full show riding attire is not essential, but dress must be neat and tidy (formal PC uniform is OK!).  All riders must wear safety approved boots and tagged helmets (will be checked).  Tagging will be available for approved helmets on the day if required.
• The committee reserves the right to amend this program, cancel classes and refuse entry at any time without notice or explanation.
• Advertised prizes are subject to change depending on availability and entry numbers. List is not exhaustive and more are being added as we go to print!
• Ribbons presented from 1^st – 6^th place.
• The judge’s decision is final, and no disputes will be entered into.
• This event will be run under Pony Club Australia rules and the policies listed under the PCA Integrity Framework https://ponyclubaustralia.com.au/about-us/resources/integrity/ .By entering this event on behalf of myself and/or my child, I agree to be bound by these policies.
• Off-The-Track classes are open to Standardbreds and Thoroughbreds only that have been registered for racing, irrespective of whether they made it to the track or training.  Please nominate when entering. Will commence in Hack Ring after the other classes finish. 
• “Sportsmanship Award” is an encouragement award, awarded to riders displaying an outstanding attitude towards learning, politeness, kind horsemanship & sportsmanship.
• Please indicate horse’s height upon entry – measurements may be carried out on the day.
• Disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
• Horse welfare is paramount – horse abuse will not be tolerated.
• No dogs or stallions allowed.
• Please clean up after yourself and your horse – manure, hay etc, including from yards.
• Canteen available.
