Tuesday 9th - Thursday 11th January 2024
Open to pony club riders aiming to compete at the 2024 State Trials (Gr 1-3) held in March 2024 and currently competing at Grade 3 or above. Riders need to have been attending pony club rallies and qualifying events and have a good level of fitness for both horse and rider, as it is an intensive 3 day camp.
Exciting news! Southern Hopefuls Camp 2024 have been able to secure Yona 4 star event coach for Victoria, Yona Lloyd, who was born and grew up in Tasmania. Yona grew up in the Huon valley attending Huon Pony Club and evented to a high level in Tasmania before moving to the mainland to persue his dream of working with horses and competing at the highest level.
All coaches are high level riders, EA qualified coaches who also coach regularly at pony clubs.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to cater for riders who can only attend one day.
Southern Hopefuls Camp may be used as ONE qualifying rally for Trials.
