CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING ROUNDS

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:

When entering on Nominate your first round will have an associated cost. Please select your second round from the $0.00 class options if you wish to ride a second round.

In order for an entry to be valid, it must have a 'Round 1' class selected.

A maximum of 2 horses per rider is allowed.

STEC members, please notify your membership status in the tick box within the entry, and then again when presented this option at the entry confirmation stage. Memberships are validated prior to the day, anybody who misrepresents their membership status in order to receive a discount will have their entry cancelled. 

Come and ride a cross country round or two in a fun, non-competitive and supportive environment. We will be running short courses from 50cm to 1* and you can choose what you'd like to jump (must be on the flagged course) 

IMPORTANT: This training day format is open to EA members whose membership level includes personal accident insurance (minimum level: Participant)

Please nominate your chosen grade for scheduling purposes only. During your round you can elect to skip fences and can ride down if you choose.

This is a fun/training day only and rounds will not be timed or scored.

Rounds will commence from 1pm and a schedule will be sent prior to the event

If you have someone coming along who is able to supervise on the course please advise this on your entry (we will need enough helpers to cover the course in order for the event to proceed)

'Spotters' only need to supervise, there is no scoring required.

Safety vest's must be compliant with the EA standards. Vests are compulsory in warm-up and during your round. 

Helmets must be tagged.

Riders who fall must leave the course on foot and present to medical before remounting.

Scratchings: With the exception of the ground fee, scratchings after the event entry close date will not be refunded. You are welcome to find a replacement rider for your spot, providing they meet the eligibility requirements. Please notify the event organiser if this is arranged.
