HASTINGS DISTRICT 25TH ANNUAL SHOWJUMPING CHAMPIONSHIPS

(Horses are not required to be Hendra Vaccinated)

SATURDAY 6th & SUNDAY 7th JUNE 2015

Open to financial Pony Club Association members

Entries close:    FRIDAY 29th May 2015

 

A, B, C, D & E grade will attract ribbons to 6th place and Gift Vouchers to the value of $75.00

            1st - $25, 2nd - $20, 3rd - $15, 4th - $10, 5th - $5

 

Champion Rugs and Reserve Champion Saddlecloths in A, B, C, D & E grades. Horse and rider MUST be present to receive their Rug/Saddlecloth or they risk forfeiture.

 

The “Bob Cross & Alan Hodge Zone Team Trophy” will be conducted in conjunction with the 2015 25th Annual Hastings Showjumping Championships.  The winning Zone Team will consist of the highest overall combined points of individual Zone point score winners in A, B, C & D grade (see over for conditions).

 

 

ENTRY FEE:              $75.00   per rider (All grades)

                                        $35.00   Additional Non competitive Horse -

CAMPING:                 $15.00 per family per night

EVENT 1                      AM5 for all grades

EVENT 2                      Power & Speed for A, B & C grades

EVENT 2A                    Single Accumulator for D & E grades

EVENT 3                      Six Bar for all grades – incorporating the “A Grade Peter Muddle Memorial Trophy”

EVENT 4                      Grand Prix for all grades

EVENT 5A                    Table C for A & B grades

EVENT 5B                    Table A2 for C, D & E grades

 Rescue Relay under lights as special 25th Anniversary event Saturday night. (A, B & C Grade only)

Jumping will commence 9am sharp

 

SUNDAY – 7 June 2014 – 8.00am walk the course

*Jumping will commence at 8.30am sharp

 

Please ensure gear is checked by Team Manager.

 

·         All D & E grade events will run under Optimum Time

·         Back numbers & helmets to be worn whilst walking the course

·         Pony Club heights will be adhered to

·         Each Club MUST nominate a Team Manager

·         Each rider is required to nominate a worker to assist in the running of the Championships – Hastings PC have the right to disqualify the rider from an event if their worker is not present at their rostered time.

·         Remember to nominate a Team Manager/Instructor to check all gear.  Random gear checks will take place throughout the competition by host club Instructors.

 

Please note:  Horses in Training (H/C) are allowed at this event, however at least one horse (Competition ) must be graded C Grade or above. Also, if both Competition and H/C horses are in the same grade, the Competition horse must be ridden first.

 

 

 

 

Each rider must nominate a Team Manager/Instructor who will be responsible for Club gear checks (under PCA of NSW rules) and the collection and return of all back numbers.  Each rider must nominate a worker to help in the running of the events.  A roster will be placed at the Secretary’s Office.  An indication on entry form of preferred job will be accommodated where possible.

 

 

Horses will remain in the same grade, as per jumping card, for the entire Championships.   Original jump card must be produced when collecting back numbers prior to the start of the event. 

 

HORSES ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED TO BE HENDRA VACCINATED

 

NO CARD – NO JUMP as per Zone 9 Pony Club Association rules.
