Membership

Fig Tree Pocket Equestrian Club offers annual memberships to riders wishing to join the club and use the facilities.

Members of the club are expected to donate 8 hours per-quarter of working bee time to assist FTPEC with general maintenance of the club grounds and preparation for competition days.  In lieu of attending working bees, members have the option of paying an additional $100 per quarter.

Members of Fig Tree Pocket Equestrian Club enjoy the following benefits:

Unlimited use of the arena for training, and use of the arena lights at night.
Full use of the cross country course.
Use of the yards and wash bays.
Access to visiting instructors who teach regularly on the grounds.

To become a member of FTPEC or make enquiries, please contact the Club Secretary.

Non-members are no longer able to use the grounds for ad-hoc training, with the exception of scheduled Open Days which are posted on the Events Calendar.

Each riding member must also be a member of Equestrian Australia for the purpose of insurance.  You will need to provide your EA membership number at the time of joining.

The grounds are kept locked at all times for insurance, and the safety of the horses, floats and equipment. The grounds are strictly closed to non-members, and a key is required to access the grounds.  If you think you will need to have your own key, please be sure to include the key deposit on your membership form.

FTPEC Members must adhere to the FTPEC Membership By-Laws and Club Constitution at all times.
