Jumping Competition Day – Saturday 28th January
Dressage Competition Day – Sunday 29th January
Training Days
The Training Days allow horse and rider combinations to complete a jumping round or dressage test in a simulated competition environment without the pressure of actually competing. There will be draws for both events to ensure classes run on time and are completed before the heat.
At the Jumping Training Day, riders will complete a full show jumping course but will not be timed or receive placings. The course will contain a variety of styles of show jumps and fill to expose horses to new or 'scary' situations. Riders are welcome to attempt jumps multiple times if their horse refuses.
At the Dressage Training Day, riders will complete a dressage test in front of a nationally accredited dressage judge. The judge will score their test as normal and provide the rider with their completed test sheet and verbal feedback upon conclusion of their test.
Competitions Days
Both the Jumping Competition and Dressage Competition will be run as official competitions with the respective EA discipline rules being observed. There will be draws for both events to ensure classes run on time and are completed before the heat. Ribbons will be awarded to 6th place.
Interschool Junior/Youth Series
School-age riders can use their results from the Summer Series for the Interschool Junior/Youth Series Leaderboard. Results from the Jumping Training Day will not count, however results from the Dressage Training Day, Jumping Competition Day and Dressage Competition Day can be used.
