VOLUNTEER LEVY ($30.00 per rider)
We are a small committee made up of parents of children who event. We have decided to align ourselves with other eventing committees and charge a volunteer levy for each rider. If you either volunteer or provide a volunteer on behalf of a rider your $30.00 volunteer levy will be refunded to your credit card. If no volunteer is provided than the levy will be retained by Sydney Eventing.
Volunteering for 2 hours is the maximum time required ( although longer would be appreciated).
We have 2 lovely people who are co-ordinating all volunteers, so it would be helpful if you could let us know before the event, the name of your volunteer (or yourself) by emailing our volunteers on the email address below, Of course, first in gets the best jobs! You can also email our volunteer co-ordinators ahead of time to discuss what would be your best available time to volunteer or what particular job you would like to do.
Email: sydneyeventing@gmail.com . Please type "Volunteer" into the header of the email.
CAMPING & CABINS
Camp sites are $30 / night, regardless of whether you use power or not. Cabins are $55.00 per night. If you stay overnight in a cabin, please do not park in the camping area. Park instead either parallel to your cabin or in the parking bays on the road adjacent to the stable block (on the way to North Truck Park). Please note there is a extra $10.00 required as a key deposit which will be refunded on return of the key.
AMATEUR
EvA 60 and EvA 80 Riders must not have competed EvA 105 and above in past 2 years. Please indicate that you are eligible on the entry form. If numbers permit, separate divisions will be run. If not, will be acknowledged in Open divisions.
STABLING
Please do not book stables for horses other than your own, the sytem does not work if you do this and extra charges will apply. The SIEC Day Stay levy is charged if stables are not booked and is automatically charged if stabling is not chosen on an entry.
If you want to be stabled with someone make sure you co-ordinate with them as to what stable block you will choose to be stabled.
Please also note that there is a solid board between the stables, so if a rider brings 2 horses put them opposite one another so they can see each other in the same stable block, not beside one another.
If you require a stable for a tack room then choose a stable and allocate as a tack room. Different charges apply as shavings are not required.
ACCUMULATED POINTS COMPETITION
Riders who enter the 60, 80 or 95 classes will be allocated points from thier entry and results which will be accumulated over 2019. We will be combining all points from Sydney Eventing as well as Sydney Three Day. Great prizes will be awarded at the end of the year. Details to follow.
